Woman creates World Cup themed living room for husband

A woman from central China has decorated her living room in the World Cup theme to create a festive mood for her soccer fan husband, thepaper.cn reported.

Arrays of national flags were hung across the ceiling and posters of game calendars were put up in the living room at their home in Zhengzhou, capital of Henan Province. The room’s floor was even paved with artificial turf.

The woman said her husband is a huge fan of Argentina’s top player Lionel Messi. She wanted to create an atmosphere similar to watching the games on the soccer field, but in the comfort of their own home. 

She also stocked up on beer and instant noodles for her husband who will be staying up late to catch many of the games.

Her husband was pleasantly surprised by her effort and said he was fortunate to marry such a great woman.
