A bus driver from Xi’an, capital of Shaanxi Province, has become an Internet hit after being filmed announcing bus stops in Chinese, English and sign language, thepaper.cn reported.

Ding Rongjun, 50, is a driver on the city’s No.28 bus route, and has been doing so for 8 years.

Ding said now he has quite a lot of followers online, and some primary school students have even featured him in their school essays. His colleagues and passengers all appreciate his "warmhearted service."

To add something extra, Ding also includes location information in his announcements and often asks passengers whether the air-conditioning temperature is appropriate or not.

His study of English is an ongoing task, and Ding said he has made progress with his grammar. He added that the city's buses serve as a symbol of a Xi'an's image, and said he aims to help passengers enjoy every bus ride.
