When asked what her dream is, 6-year-old Jiajia from Haiyuan County, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, said she wanted to be a doctor to cure her dad as well as other disabled people.

Jiajia's father, Tian Haicheng, became paralyzed in a car accident two years ago, China Central Television reported.

Soon his wife left, taking their son with her, which led to the man attempting suicide. But his little girl, Jiajia, who was just 4 at the time, never gave up on him, and has taken care of him ever since.

Jiajia learnt to feed her father, shave him, and help him get dressed, greatly reducing the burden on her grandmother.

With the love of her daughter, Tian gradually cheered up and began to broadcast their life online last year.

On a live-streaming platform, he documented how his mother and daughter look after him to give encouragement to other patients.

"The illness is extremely scary, but as long as I'm alive, I will battle it forever," Tian said.

They now have more than 460,000 followers after Chinese netizens were greatly touched by the considerate girl and her strong father.

Besides subsidies from the government, live streaming has become a source of income for the family.

"I want to send local buckwheat noodles to warmly-hearted netizens to thank them for their support," Tian said.
