Sherwin-Williams Co announces a new plant of coating

Sherwin-Williams Co opens a new plant of coating in Nantong, Jiangsu Province.

Sherwin-Williams, a US business in China, announced the establishment of a new plant of coating in Nantong, Jiangsu Province, indicating its confidence in Chinese market.

“We have confidence in the Asia market,” John G. Morikis, chairman of the Sherwin-Williams Company, said during the inauguration ceremony of its new coatings plant in Nantong, Jiangsu Province, earlier this week.

The newly announced plant indicates the US company is still bullish on investment in China despite the trade tensions.

The plant, designed to comply with stringent local environmental protection standards, and built to meet the industry’s growing demands in the Asia region, will enhance its customer service as well as its commitment to the environment, while providing a safe and productive facility.

The facility offers a wide range of coatings applications including water borne, UV, and powder coatings for automotive, furniture, heavy equipment, and infrastructure markets.
