Honor, Huawei’s brand for young consumers, launched a 5G smartphone on Wednesday that has a temperature measurement feature.
An infrared sensor in the Honor Play 4 Pro allows users to test their body temperature at any time. It also supports other temperature measurements, including water, in a range from -20 to 100 degrees Celsius.
Honor said 5G and temperature measurement would be "charmful applications” for young consumers.
The 5G models, with Huawei-developed Kirin processors and 64-mega-pixel cameras, costs from 1,799 yuan (US$257).
