South Africa looking for more Chinese tourists

The 2019 South African Tourism Trade Roadshow, on the theme of Wild Authentic South Africa, took place in Shanghai recently after appearing in Xi’an and Beijing.

“We welcome more Chinese visitors to South Africa in the future to experience different facets of this 'rainbow country,'" said Mpho Hlahla, the South African consul general in Shanghai.

As one of the top environmental destinations, South Africa has endeavored to maintain its enriched natural environment fused with its unique cultural heritage.

In 2018, more than 97,000 Chinese visited South Africa.
