Two new imported coronavirus cases were reported on Saturday, when three imported cases including one from Russia, one from Brazil and one from Singapore were discharged from the hospital upon recovery, said the Shanghai Health Commission on Sunday morning.

The new patients are both Chinese, one studying in the US and one working in the US.

The patients have been transferred to the designated hospital for treatment and all the 40 close contacts on the same plane have been tracked down for quarantine and observation.

So far, of all the 320 imported cases, 294 have been discharged upon recovery and 26 are still hospitalized, including two in critical condition.

Another two imported suspected cases are undergoing test.

No new locally transmitted cases or suspected cases were reported on Saturday.

Of all the 339 local cases, 332 have been discharged upon recovery. There have been so far seven local fatalities.

No asymptomatic infection cases are undergoing medical observation now, the health commission said.
