Four people were found dead and three others remained missing after a landslide occurred near a concrete firm in southwest China's Guizhou Province on Friday.

Rescuers said on Sunday that they had discovered nine people trapped in the slide after removing 20,000 cubic meters of silt. Four of them were dead, and five others are in a stable condition.

The rescuers are still searching for the three missing ones.

The landslide happened near a sand pile in the Guizhou Commercial Concrete Co Ltd in Guiyang, the provincial capital.

More than 400 people from the local fire fighting, public security and emergency response departments have joined the round-the-clock search and rescue.
