China Mobile has begun offering 5G service in Hong Kong as of Wednesday.
China Mobile’s 5G services cover the whole region of Hong Kong. It also supports roaming on the Chinese mainland and South Korea. By the end of this year, roaming services will cover other regions in Asia and Europe, the carrier said.
The services are priced at HK$198 (US$28) and HK$498 for packages of 30 GB and 300 GB, according to China Mobile's website.
China Mobile currently has over 500 5G base stations in Hong Kong.
