SenseTime's new smart systems, which support touch-free transactions, are helping to reduce the risk of virus transmission.

The company's hands-free payment systems, which utilize artificial intelligence technology, are now used in some metro stations in Zhengzhou, Xi’an and Harbin.

They support QR code and face-scanning payment systems. Fares are automatically deducted via a pre-set payment method. This streamlines ticket gate operations, and minimizes potential virus transmission.

Meanwhile, SenseTime’s systems are also used in LG CNS offices in South Korea for entry and exit.

SenseTime has set up its Chinese business headquarters in Shanghai, where it also focuses on research into autonomous driving, smart education, smart medicine and remote sensing.
