Shanghai Pudong Development Bank Co Ltd yesterday launched the banking industry's first online platform for venture enterprises.
So far the platform has included and maintained over 20,000 projects from science and technology enterprises. The bank intends to open the platform to investment institutions and listed companies.
Through this platform, technological enterprises can publish their financing needs which will be matched with potential investors, while venture capital firms, private equity firms and listed companies can use the platform's screening functions to locate high-quality projects.
