Ernst & Young honored 23 domestic startups with "Most Promising Enterprises" awards on Wednesday to celebrate their entrepreneurial achievements.

The awards are in collaboration with Fudan University’s School of Management, and the finalists were selected by a panel of professors and academics from the university to honor their business achievements and technology advancements.

"The inclusion of startups in areas such as space technology, Internet of Things, autonomous driving and augmented reality shows local companies' advantages in innovative technology and application. Competitive and promising companies in their early stages of development continue to emerge in recent years," commented Terence Ho, chairman of the Most Promising Enterprises Program and strategic growth markets leader at EY China.

This year's winners include Harbour BioMed Co Ltd, Genecast Biotechnology Co, Smartsens Technology, Keking Technology, logistics platform Huolala and commercial micro satellite solution provider Spacety.

The awards have been previously given to companies such as Mobike, Yiguo.com and Hupu.com.
