Science and innovation carnival aims to inspire the future
The 2018 Caohejing Science and Innovation Carnival will be held at Caohejing High-tech Park in Minhang District from October 22 to 26, organizers announced on Wednesday.
The theme of the carnival, in its third year, is “Inspire the Future” and it will provide a communication platform for enterprises and investors. Over 60 forums and discussions will be held on topics such as how to provide a better business environment for innovative companies and startup entrepreneurs. Leaders of some 30-year-old enterprises in the Caohejing High-teck Park will share stories about how their companies developed.
Over 400 teams of startup entrepreneurs from over 10 countries and regions will bring their business projects to the carnival for an innovation competition. The winners are expected to receive support from potential investors in future development.
With a history of 34 years, Caohejing High-tech Park is one of China’s earliest national level development zones. Its 3,600 enterprises are mainly in high-tech areas such as electronic information, new materials, biological medicine, environmentally friendly new energy, and automobile research and development.
