New SOHO property launched in Shanghai's Changning District

SOHO China Ltd, a leading office developer in China, launched its newest commercial complex yesterday in Shanghai's western Changning District.

Located in the heart of the Gubei business district with a total gross floor area of nearly 160,000 square meters, Gubei SOHO comprises Grade A offices and premium shopping areas as well as apartments, according to the Hong Kong-listed developer.

The design of the main building is inspired by The Endless Column, a landmark sculpture in Romania.

Over the last 20 years, SOHO China has developed a total of 5 million square meters of high-quality commercial property in Beijing and Shanghai, the company's two key markets in the country, Pan Shiyi, chairman of SOHO China, told the media yesterday at the unveiling ceremony of Gubei SOHO.
