Urban drama features young people's entrepreneurship
Zhao Liying plays the leading role of a fashion designer.
“Our Glamorous Time,” an urban drama about young Chinese people’s entrepreneurship, will start to air on Dragon TV on November 12.
Starring Zhao Liying and Jin Han, the drama is based on an online novel by Ding Mo. It tells a story about a young fashion designer and a retired soldier’s efforts to establish a homegrown fashion brand which they intend to bring to the world.
Most of the drama’s scenes are shot in Wuhan, Hubei Province. Han embroidery, an intangible cultural heritage of the city, is also incorporated into the plot.
The drama is also a recommended production of the State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television to commemorate the 40th anniversary of China’s reform and opening-up.
