No new coronavirus cases reported in Shanghai

There were no new imported cases of novel coronavirus reported in the city on Monday, while nine imported patients, four from Russia, three from the UK, one from Canada and one from Switzerland, were released upon recovery, according to Shanghai Health Commission.

So far, of all the 299 imported cases, 199 have been discharged upon recovery and 100 are still hospitalized, including one in critical condition.

Another 12 imported suspected cases are undergoing test.

No new locally transmitted cases or suspected cases were reported on Monday.

Of the 339 local cases, 331 have been discharged upon recovery and one being hospitalized is in serious condition. There have been so far seven local fatalities.

No asymptomatic infection cases are undergoing medical observation right now, the health commission said.
