No imported or local coronavirus cases reported in city

There were no new imported novel coronavirus cases reported on Thursday, while five patients, two from the US, one from the UK, one from United Arab Emirates and one from Brazil, were discharged upon recovery, said the Shanghai Health Commission on Friday morning.

So far, of all the 321 imported cases, 306 have been discharged upon recovery and 15 are still hospitalized, including one in critical condition and one in serious condition.

Another two imported suspected case is undergoing test.

No new locally transmitted or suspected cases were reported on Thursday, either.

Of all the 339 local cases, 332 have been discharged upon recovery. There have been so far seven local fatalities.

No asymptomatic infection cases are undergoing medical observation now, the health commission said.
