No new COVID-19 cases reported in Shanghai for Friday

No new coronavirus cases were reported in Shanghai on Friday, while five imported patients including three from Pakistan, one from France and one from India were discharged upon recovery, said the Shanghai Health Commission on Saturday morning.

So far, of all the 391 imported cases, 365 have been discharged upon recovery and 26 are still hospitalized.

Two imported suspected cases are undergoing test.

No new locally transmitted or suspected cases were reported on Friday.

Of all the 342 local cases, 334 have been discharged upon recovery and one is hospitalized for treatment. There have been so far seven local fatalities.

No asymptomatic infection cases are undergoing medical observation now, the health commission said.
