Typhoon Hagupit overturned 460 trees and damaged another 1,410 across Shanghai, according to the Shanghai Greenery and Public Sanitation Bureau.

About 2,000 streets vulnerable to flooding were cleared by 27,000 sanitation workers along with 62,000 garbage bins.

More than 900 tons of trash, including fallen leaves and mud, was cleared after the typhoon hit last night, according to the bureau.

Nearly 300 advertisement boards and signs were dismantled across the city prior to the typhoon.
