The 2018 China Meeting of the Econometric Society was opened in Shanghai on Friday, regarded as the highest-level international academic meeting on economics in China this year.
The three-day meeting, hosted by the School of Economics and Fanhai International School of Finance at Fudan University, invited more than 500 academics and economists to share their views on the latest research in econometrics.
Guests included Nobel Laureate Christopher Sims and Lars Peter Hansen.
