Time-honored brands exhibiting this weekend

More than 200 companies of Chinese time-honored brands exhibited their products at the China Time-Honored Brand and Famous Brand Expo, which started on Friday at the Shanghai Exhibition Center.

The year's event, with a focus on innovation, encouraged companies to present their latest efforts to revive the brand and cater to the demands of the young. There was a special exhibition zone called "time-honored brands with new culture." 

The annual expo, covering sectors like dining, retail, clothing, jewelry, health care and household appliances, has become part of the city's campaign to lift its profile in the services sector.

The event will run through Monday.
