Don't imagine dragons in Shanghai: They are really coming

Rock music fans in Shanghai are in for a musical feast in the beginning of the year: American rock band Imagine Dragons is returning to Shanghai.
Entitled “Evolve,” the name of the band’s third studio album released in 2017, this performance will feature standards from the band, including hits such as “Whatever It Takes,” “Thunder,” “Demons” and “Radioactive.”
Formed in 2009 in Las Vegas, Imagine Dragons consists of lead vocalist Dan Reynolds, guitarist Wayne Semon, bassist Ben McKee and drummer Daniel Platzman.
The band first gained exposure with the release of their single “It’s Time.”
Their first and second studio albums “Night Visions” and “Smoke + Mirrors” came out in 2012 and 2015.
With the release of three albums, the band has gained international success, with three American Music Awards, five Billborad Music Awards, one Grammy and a World Music Award and several hits have gone platinum.
Beginning in Malaysia, Imagine Dragon will tour other Asian countries and regions and will continue their journey in Europe and South America.
They are returning to Shanghai after two years and this will be their only stop in China’s mainland on this tour.
