Shanghai-based artist Hu Renyi led a group of students from the COSCO Experimental School to clear the clogged shared bikes on the streets in Putuo District today as part of his long-running public space project “Longtang Xia” or “Superheroes in Lanes.”

Hu launched this multimedia project this March, in which he has invited ordinary Shanghai people to dress up in superhero outfit, co-designed by Hu and New York-based illustrator Lisha Jiang, and help to make the public spaces in the city better and cleaner.
