Man seriously injured in accident helped by firefighters training nearby

A motorbike rider was severely injured in a traffic accident after colliding with a car in suburban Jinshan District on Wednesday morning.

The accident happened at about 11am at the intersection of Jinlang Highway and Tingfeng Highway, which is close to a fire station in Jinshan.

Firefighters who were training nearby soon came to the scene after hearing the collision, giving the injured man emergency treatment. They said his thinking was cloudy and that he had several visible injuries.

They calmed the injured man and cordoned off the area while waiting for an ambulance to arrive.

Further investigation is ongoing.
