Tree-lined Beijing Road W. and Yangquan Road in Jing’an are among the 24 newly-named boulevards by the city’s greenery authority.
The Beijing Road W. features plane trees, and Yangquan Road is covered by a line of camphor trees. It requires more than 90 percent of green coverage of sidewalks to be a boulevard.
So far, Shanghai has named 198 boulevards, and Jing’an has 19. Autumn is a great season for people to walk on the falling leaves, ponder over things in roadside seats or have a cup of coffee in café.
