Crowds gather for week-long celebration at City of God Temple

Crowds of people sing at City God Temple in celebration of the eponymous idol’s birthday on Friday, the 21st day of the second month in the Chinese lunar calendar. The temple will be open free to the public for one week as part of a seven-day celebration. Local groups will also perform traditional Chinese opera in the temple every day, while free noodles will be offered to well-wishers.
