Submissions sought for Doctors' Day poem recitation concert

The city’s health authority has announced they will organize a poem recitation concert on August 10 to celebrate the nation’s second Doctor’s Day and "promote the spirits of dedication and professionalism of doctors."

Artists, doctors and patients will recite famous poems from home and abroad that touch on themes of life and medicine, Shanghai's Health Commission said.

Short stories and poems written by doctors and patients themselves are also welcomed.

The authority has begun collecting poems recommended by doctors and the public as well as their own personal stories and poems.
