Zhou Ping is the president of the 140-year-old Shanghai Symphony Orchestra and like Shanghai Daily, which turned 20 this year, her association with the historic orchestra dates back 20 years.
Zhou has explored using a Western language to interpret local stories during her tenure and shares her experience and insights about her musical journey with Shanghai Daily.
