Czech glass engraver artist Jiri Tesar has brought a special Panda-engraved piece to the Czech pavilion. He uses both classical and modern techniques of the thousands-of-years-long glass-making, and bring in his own novel ideas and procedures rather than copying classical motifs of the art form.
He has been a leading glass engraving artist representing the Czech Republic since the age of 25, and is the artist of many official, presidential and VIP gifts of the country.
