3 new Shanghai coronavirus cases confirmed

Shanghai confirmed three new coronavirus-related pneumonia cases on Tuesday night, health authorities announced on Wednesday morning.

All of the three patients are male and are registered Shanghai residents. They all recently traveled to Wuhan in central China's Hubei Province where more than 250 cases have been reported.

They are receiving treatment in isolation in hospital and their close contacts are also undergoing medical observation, the Shanghai Health Commission said.

So far, Shanghai has reported nine coronavirus cases with all patients in a stable condition and none critical. Another 10 suspected cases are undergoing tests.
