Neither imported nor locally transmitted coronavirus cases reported in the city

There were no new imported cases of novel coronavirus reported in the city on Friday, while 14 imported patients, 10 from Russia, three from the UK and one from Italy, were released upon recovery, the Shanghai Health Commission said on Saturday morning.

So far, of all the 302 imported cases, 216 have been discharged upon recovery and 86 are still hospitalized, including one in critical condition.

Another 11 imported suspected cases are undergoing test.

No new locally transmitted cases or suspected cases were reported on Friday, either.

Of the 339 local cases, 331 have been discharged upon recovery and one is in serious condition. There have been so far seven local fatalities.

No asymptomatic infection cases are undergoing medical observation right now, the health commission said.
