The 39-episode 3D cartoon series “Dr. Panda” is now being broadcast on CCTV children’s channel.

The seven-minute cartoons were produced by Nasdq-listed education company TAL’s children education band  Dr. Panda and have been broadcast by Golden Eagle Cartoon Satellite TV, subject to Hunan Satellite TV. They are also available in the US, Canada, Russia and Italy in local languages.

Children can now watch the Chinese version on CCTV children’s channel at 9am from Monday to Friday.

The cartoons aim to cultivate independent thinking, problem solving and cooperation in children by telling stories of how Dr. Panda solves problems in different roles including chef, librarian, firefighter and construction worker.

The brand team and experts including Liu Chang, an associate professor from Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine, have also produced four episodes about the novel coronavirus to help children learn about the pandemic. These cartoons are available for free on various video platforms in China, including iQiyi, Youku and QQLive.
