Chinese actor Du Jiang dubs the Mandarin version of the movie.

Thai animation feature film “The Legend of Muay Thai: 9 Satra" held a special screening in Shanghai on June 22. 

The film’s dubbing team for the Chinese version, including actors Du Jiang and Jiang Luxia, attended the screening and shared with audience members their inside stories.

Earlier this year, the film was a black horse at the box office in Thailand. It revolves around the growth of a young man who is adept at Thai boxing and follows his fight against evil.

It took the crew around 4 years to produce the animation.  

According to mainland actor Du Jiang, the film is for people of all ages because of its engaging story and visuals. 

“The Legend of Muay Thai: 9 Satra" will hit cinemas across China on June 29.
