Shanghai Media Group has re-organized its programming for young people as the winter holiday continues. New shows will feature local teachers and famous animators.

Shanghai Media Group has adjusted its TV program schedule for young people over the extended winter vacation due to the coronavirus.

Newly produced short videos about the prevention and control of the pneumonia epidemic will be broadcast on Toonmax TV. Educational and cultural programs will also be presented by experienced teachers and scholars from Shanghai.

Artists behind Chinese animation classics such as “Calabash Brothers” and “Black Cat Sheriff” will share stories about their productions on a daily program on News Channel. 

The Opera Channel will air a national talent competition of children’s singing skills. They will also perform with famous Chinese opera artists on the stage.

Docu TV will offer a batch of excellent domestic and foreign documentaries. They will provide insight into fine art, music, history and wildlife.
