We're in for fine weekend

Fine weather is forecast for the weekend.

After a dry start on Thursday, there was rain in the afternoon and some fog.

There was a high of 18.5 degrees Celsius in downtown Xujiahui, but suburban Chongming only recorded 14.4 degrees.

On Friday, it will be overcast to cloudy, with temperatures ranging between 12 and 19 degrees, according to Shanghai Meteorological Bureau.

On Saturday, the temperature will reach 26 around noon but then fall as a cold front moves in. It is expected to drop to 12 degrees overnight.

Sunday will be fine with temperatures between 10 and 16 degrees.

A high pressure will bring clear skies and lower temperatures next week.
