Weather warms up this week

Temperatures in Shanghai are expected to reach 30 degrees Celsius this week, despite a cooler, wetter Tuesday.

The week will begin with mainly sunny skies and temperatures between 11 and 20 degrees. Some fog is expected in western and northern areas of the city on Monday morning, which might affect traffic. 

Tuesday morning will be gray with a few short showers and a high of 18. Skies will clear in the afternoon.

The sun will break through the clouds on Wednesday and Thursday with the high soaring to 28 and 29 degrees.

Friday will be mostly cloudy with temperatures at 22 degrees.
