Young collectors hold cultural salon
The Shanghai Super Classic, an exhibition of cars and art, runs till June 24 at the Shanghai Port International Cruise Terminal.
Young collectors held a light-hearted cultural salon at the ongoing Shanghai Super Classic on Wednesday. They shared their stories about collecting and exchanged ideas on the latest Internet trends.
Carson Guo,18, has 248 Supreme skateboards, worth 5.4 million yuan (US$782,000). Young people like Guo are a new force of collection, who exhibit their collections online and have developed an online fan base.
Zhou Ziyun, a collector of cartoon merchandise, is optimistic about the rapid development of domestic cartoon industry.
The salon also gathered collectors of dresses, sportswear and wine. They will meet visitors to the Shanghai Super Classic, an exhibition of cars and art.
The exhibition will run till June 24 at the Shanghai Port International Cruise Terminal on the North Bund.
