The Shanghai-New York Twin Cities Cultural Forum has been held at Huangpu Theater.
Hosted by the Shanghai Theater Academy, the forum brought together producers, academics and critics from home and abroad to discuss how to develop cultural hubs for the performing arts in the city.
Shanghai is the country’s cradle of modern theater. Officials from Shanghai Theater Academy said that they will be more engaged in the future cultural development of the city.
