IKEA China issues problem travel mugs recall

IKEA China is recalling 43,870 Troligtvis travel mugs produced on January 1 for potential safety hazards, the city's market watchdog said on Thursday.

The mugs have been recalled due to excessive plasticizer dibutyl phthalate (DBP), the Shanghai Administration for Market Regulation which received the recall plan said.

IKEA China has asked customers who have purchased the mugs labeled "Made in India" to stop using them immediately and a full refund or replacement is available.

The recall will last until April 14.
