The Shanghai Wild Animal Park in the Pudong New Area is seeking a name for a 10-month-old giant panda cub.

The big-eyed boy, weighing more than 36 kilograms, is active, energetic and likes climbing.

He’s also naughty and bites his mother's ear on occasion while struggling for food, a park operator said, but this mama’s boy never leaves her side.

His mother, Jia Jia, is celebrating her 8th birthday on Wednesday.
