Tennessee kicker Ryan Succop set a record with his first field goal on Monday night, and then he kept on kicking.

Succop set the National Football League mark for most consecutive field goals made inside 50 yards, stretching his streak to 51 with five field goals in a 36-22 win over the Indianapolis Colts.

Succop made a pair of 48-yarders, and the first one broke a tie with Matt Bryant, who connected on 46 straight field goals inside 50 yards between 2013 and 2015 for the Atlanta Falcons.

"I'm so humbled, and I feel so blessed," Succop said.

After his first kick capped the Titans' opening drive, Succop made a 32-yard field goal late in the first quarter and a 40-yarder with 4:10 left in the second quarter. He added the other 48-yarder and a 23-yarder in the third quarter.

The Titans needed every point too with the offense not scoring a touchdown until DeMarco Murray's 3-yard run with 10:01 left in the fourth quarter.

"That's what he's here for," Titans coach Mike Mularkey said. "I mean he's done a great job of it."

Succop's streak started in 2014, and he topped the franchise record of 24 straight set by Al Del Greco in 1995-1996. He signed with the Titans in 2014 after being released by the Kansas City Chiefs, and Succop turned in his best season yet in 2016 with a 91.7 percent rate on field goals that ranked third in the NFL.
