Chongming hosts white collar cycling challenge

The 2017 500 Enterprise White Collar Cycling Challenge was held on the city's Chongming Island over the weekend, featuring employees from nearly 100 local companies.

The challenge was divided into two groups — elite and public. Each company was represented by five members, and the arrival time of the last member became the final result of the company. China Baowu Steel Group Corp was the winner of the elite group, with a finishing time of 59 minutes and 7 seconds.

The 31-kilometer route covered Dongping National Forest Park, Beiyan Highway, Changzheng Highway, Dongfeng Highway and Linfeng Highway.

The event is also part of the 2017 Shanghai Citizen’s Amateur League.
