Team Britain wins Nacra 17 Shanghai Cup
2018 Nacra 17 Shanghai Cup gathered sailors from 12 countries and regions.
Team Britain won the 2018 Nacra 17 Shanghai Cup at Dishui Lake in the Pudong New Area over the weekend.
Teams from 12 countries and regions took part in the three-day competition.
Britain's John Gimson and Anna Burnet established a solid advantage from the first day. Despite faults in the following days in windy conditions, the pair held on to their lead.
Team Austria and Team Sweden came second and third. Team China, represented by Yang Xuezhe and Hu Xiaoxiao, was fifth.
The Shanghai Cup was organized by the Shanghai Yacht Club with support from World Sailing, the China Yachting and Windsurfing Association and the Shanghai Sports Bureau.
