Seven district-level hospitals in Minhang have launched online services as the battle against the pandemic resurgence continues.

The Shanghai No. 5 People's Hospital, the Minhang Central Hospital, and the Qibao, Pujin, Gumei, Xinzhuang and Maqiao community health service centers have all set up online hospitals where residents can consult doctors, order a repeat prescription and have their drugs delivered.

Patients can access the online hospitals of the Shanghai No. 5 People's Hospital and the Minhang Central Hospital through their official WeChat accounts.

The five community-level health service centers can be reached through the Minhang Jieyi (闵行捷医) app.

Some doctors offer same-day diagnosis once a patient makes an appointment, while others require an appointment at least one day in advance.

Patients can comment on a doctor's service online after the consultation.

And fees charged for the online hospitals will be the same as the offline ones.

Real-name registration is required and only patients who have a valid two-month or less medical record at the same department of the hospital can make an appointment at the online hospitals.

City-level hospitals in the district, including the Hongqiao branch of Huashan Hospital, the south branch of Renji Hospital, the Pujiang branch of the Eye & ENT Hospital and Children's Hospital, also have launched online services on their official WeChat accounts.
