“KOOZA,” an acclaimed circus production by Cirque du Soleil, the world’s leading producer of spectacular live entertainment, will be staged in Shanghai.

Since its debut in Canada in 2007, the show, a story about a vagrant, has traveled to 18 countries and regions worldwide. This is the first time that it will be presented in China.

With stunning visual effects, lavish scenes and breathtaking costumes, the show is a display of amazing acrobatics and clown art.

Audiences will be treated to aerial hoop acts, highwire walking and balancing on chairs.

The show is directed by David Shiner, who used to work as a clown in Cirque du Soleil's production “Nouvelle Experience.”

After Shanghai performances, “KOOZA” will go to Beijing in December.

Chinese heartthrob Lu Han is the show's image ambassador for its China stop.
