Series to document master artists and cultural celebrities

A 15-episode documentary series telling unknown stories of the city’s renowned artists and cultural celebrities will start to air on Art Channel at 6:30pm from the Lunar New Year’s Eve on February 15.
All of the celebrities featured have made remarkable achievements and shown devotion in their fields. Among them are famous actress Qin Yi, artist Lin Ximing, Kunqu Opera master Cai Zhengren, violinist Yu Lina, dubbing artist Cao Lei, conductor Chen Xieyang, urban heritage protection expert Ruan Yisan and Chinese chess master Hu Ronghua.
The series documents the hardships, perseverance and endless passion of the artists, as well as their influence on the younger generation.
Producers note that the series pays tribute to the artists’ faith and spirit, particularly when they face difficulties in life.
