Ciwen Media announced at a TV market event of the 24th Shanghai International TV Festival that they will present “Dancing in the Storm,” a series about information security, next year.

The series, created by veteran director Liu Xin, stars Hong Kong actors William Chan and Simon Yam and Chinese mainland actresses Guli Nazha and Jiang Wenli. It is one of the few attempts of domestic filmmakers on the subject of the high-tech fight among modern enterprises and information security.

The series’ action scenes are designed by veteran fight choreographers of the military movie “Operation Red Sea.”

According to Ma Zhongjun, president of Ciwen Media, the series will display China’s progress in science and technology as well as its rising international influence and status.

Ciwen Media has produced many acclaimed series, including fantasy series “The Journey of Flower” and tomb-raiding thriller “The Mystic Nine.”

Last year, the Chinese costume spy drama “Princess Agents” was hailed by a large number of foreign viewers on YouTube, making it one of the hottest Chinese TV productions shown in Western countries.
