New reality shows to bring out stars' dance potential

Celebrity reality dance show “Shake It Up” will begin airing on Dragon TV from July 22.

The original show gathers a group of stars, including actresses Rainie Yang, Dong Jie, Qin Lan, singer Wu Mochou, plus actors Jerry Yan and Sheng Yilun to perform with veteran dancers.

The show will explore the stars’ untapped potential for dance.

Taiwan actor Jerry Yan, known for his impressive acting in the drama “Meteor Garden,” said he's new to dance but that he's thrilled to make an attempt.

Mainland actress Dong Jie, who used to be a dancer, promised that she will try different dance styles like jazz and ballroom dancing on stage.

All the stars will take part in strict dance training through the show. The reality series will also be aired on Youku.
