A batch of domestic animated productions were released at the CCG Expo 2018, which closed in Shanghai on July 9.

Producers of popular Chinese animations “Take My Brother Away” and “Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation” held fan meetings during the expo.

Officials from Tencent’s v.qq.com said a few high-quality animated series will air online later this year.

Among them are 3D animation “Cross Fire,” based on a hit game, and “The Lord of Snow Hawk,” adapted from a popular online fantasy novel.

Many of the productions will have new and creative interpretations of traditional Chinese culture.

Interactive programs were also hosted for anime enthusiasts in Shanghai. Sketches and drawings, props, costumes and exquisite spin-offs were displayed during the expo.

On top of that, dubbing actors Zhang Jie and Guo Haoran also attended to share with the audiences their experiences of voicing cartoon characters.
