'2018 Sing! China' enters a new stage of elimination
Grassroots singers display their talents on stage.
The ongoing reality series “2018 Sing! China” will enter a new stage of eliminations after the early phase of blind auditions.
The new episode will be broadcast on Zhejiang Satellite TV at 9pm on August 24.
The show’s four judges, including Hong Kong pop singer and actor Nicholas Tse, Chinese mainland ballad singer Li Jian and Taiwan stars Jay Chou and Harlem Yu, have already formed their competing teams.
In the upcoming episode, contestants in each team will vie for the first four places. Later they will represent each team to compete in the final elimination rounds.
Since its debut in July, the show has discovered a lot of talented grassroots singers. In addition to original songs, they have also presented creative interpretations of classic pop songs.
Currently the show is the top-rated variety program in its slot nationwide.
